At the beginning your app address in the unpublished state still carries the title "-preview", as soon as you make the publication, the address can be freely selected in the designation up to the conclusion ".zur.app".
For all those who want separately an individual domain incl. own ending like ".app", ".de" etc. for your mobile offer, at least the premium package is the requirement.
Furthermore, you must be in possession of the respective domain name and also have the possibility to store a suitable IP address or a so-called CNAME entry in the DNS settings of the domain. For this, it is best to contact the administrator of your desired domain directly. Suitable domains can be ordered from common providers such as 1&1, OVH or Domain Factory.
If you do not have the domain yet, we will gladly take care of the registration and activation separately for you. Simply contact us in the app administration via the live chat at the bottom right.
1. So that the app can now be activated via the new address, the settings mentioned below only need to be stored as a DNS entry:
|"CNAME" entry (preferred)
||"A" entry (alternate IP address)
If a CNAME is not possible, you can alternatively store the IP address directly. However, the CNAME entry should be preferred.
Important! Corresponding AAAA / IPv6 entries should also be removed here without replacement.
2. Finally, you then tell us in the app administration also at the bottom right via the live chat your desired domain address. With the help of the information, we can then prepare all the technical requirements for the setup and ongoing encryption of the data to and within the app.
After activating and changing the address, the previous app users will be informed the next time they start the app that the app is now available under a different address. A click takes them directly to the new address and they can then reinstall the app. Search engines also directly receive information about the redirection, so that the search results on Google and Co. are directly adapted.
